We were stoked to receive Champion Pen of Females at the Monto Cattle & Country Show Sale on Wednesday 23rd March 2022. We pride ourselves on having strong females that produce us high quality seed stock, but to then see them take out the champion prize at the show sale proves just how diverse and market adaptable Red Brangus cattle really are. Thanks to Brad & Donna and all the staff from Monto Cattle and Country for hosting the show sale and also thanks to all the sponsors and to Brian Wedemeyer for taking the time to judge.
Redline Brangus hosted a Junior Judges Information morning for the students from the Monto State Primary School. Kris Dingle from Redline Brangus demonstrated some hands on experience, showing the students the main and finer points when judging cattle. We hope the students enjoyed the day at Redline and learnt some valuable techniques to help them with their Junior Young Judges Competition.
Kris and Donna mustering our red brangus bulls in preparation for their transport to the Kimberleys. Redline's red brangus bulls have been purchased by a property in the Kimberleys. These young sires will go into their breeding program. This Kimberley property has been selecting our bulls for a number of years and are extremely happy with red brangus and the attribute they have brought to their herd.
The Dingle family have been busy building a new set of cattle yards. Our main cattle yards at Redline Brangus is the Goomaram yards. The old timbered yards have been up-graded with a new set of steel yards. Installing a new vet crush and branding cradle all undercover, drafting yards and new loading ramp, making cattle work so much easier.
