Redline Brangus is 180km west of Bundaberg, Queensland, in the North Burnett Region, 35km north of Eidsvold, near Wuruma Dam.

Redline Brangus, operated by The Dingle family, trading as Redline Cattle Company, has successfully evolved their fifth-generation beef cattle enterprise into a profitable Red Brangus stud and commercial operation.

The Dingle family's approach to breeding seedstock, while maintaining a commercial perspective to ensure both genetic improvements and market opportunities, is the primary factor driving the growth of their Red Brangus herd.

The Red Brangus females are essential to their operation. These cows graze year-round on natural forest country and are joined seasonally for breeding. Optimizing fertility in the herd has been a long-term focus. Cows are removed from the herd if they do not wean a calf or fail an annual pregnancy test. Additionally, cows with undesirable temperaments, poor udder quality, and those requiring assisted births are rare, but are also culled to maintain herd quality.

The Dingle’s maintain a modern bull operation. EBVs for both sale and paddock bulls have been adopted, raw data is collected and submitted, along with DNA, genomics and muscle scanning. Semen and morphology testing for all bulls is undertaken at an early age, this helps determine early maturity and sire trends. A small percentage of the Elite Red Brangus Bulls are selected for various sales. These bulls have been selected on phenotype and genotype, are homozygous polled, semen and morphology tested, show good growth attributes and have excellent temperaments. Majority of our bulls are sold directly from the paddock. Extensive data information is provided on each bull to help buyers with bull selection. The bulls are prepared on grass and occasionally assisted with lucerne silage in dry seasons to help guarantee they are ready for paddock duties and able to climatize to work conditions with ease. 

Given the current emphasis on pasture management, market relevance, and profitability, the Redline breeding program employs all necessary measures to align with prevailing market trends. The surplus Redline breeding stock are easily finished on grass, grade MSA, and are EU accredited with grasslands compliance.
